I will try to keep a watch on this section and give answers to questions or I will find the right answer if it is something I am not familiar with.

I've got a question for you about the fee on the suppressor: is that a fee you have to pay every year or just when you buy it?

The $200 transfer tax stamp fee is a one time per transfer fee. So if you buy a suppressor the tax will only be paid once. If you were to transfer (sell) it to a friend they would have to pay the fee at the time of transfer.
Leeboat, feel free to correct me if i'm wrong.

Okay. Thanks. I'm considering one for my Glock 19. I hear there's quite a bit of paperwork involved?

There is some paperwork but the folks at AR Bunker are VERY experienced with it and will help you to make it really pretty easy.

Suppressor for a 9mm will run about 500 to 700 depending on brand. We only carry good quality stuff so the difference in mnoey will only be how small and light the suppressor is.

Lee - just a quick update - tried to get my paper work going yesterday but the Sheriff's office wants the fingerprints before they will even look at it and the Gwinnett county permit office (for finger prints) is only open Mon - Thursday 8:30 to 11:30.
Thanks for your help.

I did not think it was possible to tranfer from one person to another. I though it had to be transfered back to a class III dealer and then transfered to the friend, thereby costing $400, and that that's why there's no market for used silencers. I would consider it good news if I'm wrong about this.
