I agree. That's pretty nice. What does a suppressed 9mm sound like? Anything to compare it to?

9mm SD sub-sonic (from a hand gun) has a unique tone from everything else i have shot.
I shoot my Berretta 90-two suppressed sometimes.

I agree. That's pretty nice. What does a suppressed 9mm sound like? Anything to compare it to? It's hard for me to say. It's the only supressor I've ever shot or heard. I will say that is was quieter than I expected. Most of the noise is the slide on the pistol and the bullet stiking the target. The salesman said "it's not like the movies", but darn, if it's not, it's pretty close. According to Lee, the 226 supresses well (I assume that's relative to other pistols) and I'd think the TiRant would be on the high end of the 9mm spectrum. With super sonic ammo, it's about as loud as a .22 rifle, but not quite as sharp (IMO). It's wreaked havoc on the armadillo poplulation around here!

Rail, Tail, and Bling The P229-9-EQE was a limited run for one of the distributors. It's the first Equinox in 9mm and the only Equinox outfitted with Elite features (Fwd cocking serrations, beavertail, SRT, etc.) 99 were produced and there are still a few available. German frame - Exeter assembly.

Here's some "old school" goodness for ya. P220 .45acp born in 1989. W. Germany and Herndon VA stamped on the slide and dressed in factory nickel. Matching serial numbers on the frame, slide and barrel. We refer to this finish as "factory" because they were shipped new from Sig in this finish, even though it was done for them by Klein Plating (located in PA, I believe). This one will be going to a new home shortly, unless someone brings me to my senses.

Raceman , These all look like the start of great collection and by the way that Mosquito is begging for a suppressor.

Yeah, I know, but I think I'd rather silence my Glock first.

Gosh - looks like no one is around these days so I guess I'll just put another one out there and stir the pot a little. 1971 S&W Model 41 with 7-3/8" barrel and an original muzzle break. I (and others) have hit the 12" gong at 100 yards with this one. I have also cut business cards at 20-25 feet (no - not everytime but I was running 50% plus for a while - need to try it again) Uturnwilly Attachments:
